Horses For Sale
2011 Chestnut Gelding, 15.3 hands
Cowboy Cal (Giant’s Causeway x Texas Tammy) x Dream Extreme (Trajectory x High Grades)
Johnny Hurricane was a $40,000 yearling and sold at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall 2012 Yearling Sale.
For the past two years, I was in a partnership on this horse and he had 7 starts. He was a super laid back horse on the track. He has a great personality. I was really hoping to keep him, but I have a 2 yr old colt I’ve decided to keep and don’t have the time to retrain him. He’s only been ridden a handful of times since coming off the track last March so he’s RRP eligible this year or wait and take him next year, as he should still be eligible.
He’s a fantastic mover! He’s very free in his movement. He could literally go in any direction – jumping, dressage or even barrel racing. No racetrack injuries. Overall, he has a great personality. He just needs to get back into work and back in shape. He’s one of those you don’t really want to sell, but know in the right hands he will be awesome.
