Lake Fork Stables is conveniently located on Texas Hwy. 154 in Yantis, Texas. We are just 3 minutes from downtown Yantis and 5 minutes from the TX State Highway 154 bridge over Lake Fork. We offer semi-care horse boarding in Yantis with high end amenities to ensure the comfort of your horse. We also have a 100x150 foot arena surrounded by high quality Priefert fencing, 40 ft. Priefert round pen and 8.8 acres of lush pasture.

Our location on TX Hwy. 154 offers convenient horse boarding options for much of the surrounding area. Lake Fork Stables is only 10 minutes from Quitman, 20 minutes from Sulphur Springs, 15 minutes from Emory and 20 minutes from Winnsboro.

Lake Fork Stables is located just a short drive from several popular horse show and trail riding locations as well. We are 26 minutes from the Hopkins Civic Center, 45 minutes from the Tyler Rose Horse Park and 30 minutes from the trails at the Mineola Nature Preserve. The annual Autumn Trails trail ride in Winnsboro is only 25 minutes away. The Cooper Lake horse trails are 40 minutes away.


We are a small facility that boards a small number of horses. We believe in 24/7 turnout, but each horse will have a 10×10 stall with automatic iFeed feeder and automatic waterer.

Horse Motel

We offer overnight stalls for individuals traveling through our area and need a place to unload for the night.  Accommodations can be arranged at Little Caney Cabin, just 7 minutes way.


Our 100×150 foot arena with Priefert fencing is available for rental for schooling as well as events.
